The City of Oakland Human Services Department ASSETS Senior Employment program offers employment-related assistance to low income Oakland residents 55 years of age or older.  This program offers older adults an opportunity to achieve gainful employment and personal development through its employment and training program.  The program includes: individual career counseling, job search, job placement and job retention assistance, work experience, support services, and classroom training in: computers, office skills, customer service, adult life skills, conflict management, early childhood education and more.
