We operate the One Stop Career Center located in the heart of downtown Oakland, 1212 Broadway.  Come  by and visit our comprehensive center where we provide FREE resources to aid you in your job search.  Job Seekers, we offer you a host of computers for your use with free Internet access, computer training, phone banks, on-site employer recruitments, career counselors, not to mention hundreds of job listings, all at no charge.  In addition you may qualify for specialized training - come by and see us to find out.  The PIC also operates two carreer centers for Alameda Count Social Service Agency: SSA Eastmont (Eastmont Mall, Oakland, CA) & SSA North Oakland (2000 San Pablo Rd, Oakland, CA).

 

If you are an employer looking to fill one or several positions, our Business Services department is ready to serve.  We regularly host on-site recruitments with businesses like Federal Express, Citibank, UPS, Plan B Staffing, Safeway, and Macy's, to name a few. Let us host an on-site recruitment for your organization where a multitude of ready-to-work candidates will be waiting for you.
