Our Team

We have significant experience providing employment training and job placement services to justice-involved persons. We have worked with more than 300 Oakland Unite clients alone. Our team includes people with lived experience in the justice system with different language abilities, mental wellness, life coaching, and conflict mediation services. We also offer domestic violence, restorative justice and financial wellness programs to support you on the journey to successful reentry.

What support is offered?

  • We design a personalized program for Youth and Young Adults (18-35) to provide support that meets their needs. 

  • Employment/Education Support programs are designed to help participants develop skills and advance their education.

  • We focus on building the skills and practices needed to get and keep a good job.

What support is offered?

  • We offer a range of resources and services to help our clients prepare for the job search, including information on job openings; assistance with job searches, resume writing, and interviewing; access to on-the-job training and other work experiences
  • We have developed partnerships with employers, education and training providers to make sure our clients arrive ready to work. 

How can I get connected?

Oakland PIC uses the State of California’s approved Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) for training referrals.
